W got a hold of A's new cheap little digital camera and has taken 42 pictures of her thumb covering the lens.

Why oh why did I put the book "Puff the Magic Dragon" on A's wishlist when I can't even read the darn thing without tearing up? Beautiful illustrations, beautiful story!

A says after picking up the all the books "Now W, you remember what A says and don't make a mess!"

After church tonight, A ran up to me yelling "Mama! Mama! God loves us and He sent his Son!" Best. church. night. ever.

A says "I want to go back to CrossFit. You work out, and I will swing on the rings."

A just dropped something and said "Crap, crap, crap". I have no idea where she got that from *whistles innocently*

My tender-hearted little A can't handle Rudolph - she broke down as soon as he couldn't play any reindeer games. Thank goodness for easy forwarding to the happy ending!

A is very annoyed that her imaginary giraffes won't stop licking her face.

A announces "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. It's time for...A!"

A just asked if she could clean the living room so she could vacuum. I said no - just kidding, do you think I'm crazy? I love this kid.

And so it begins: I told A she couldn't have toys at naptime and she said "why?"

A just asked for a credit card for shopping. I gave her some play cards. She took them down to Daddy's office and "deposited" a box of cards and told him to keep an eye on them, watch out for the big bad wolf.

Hmmmm...interesting haircut A came home with yesterday.

A's comment around the dinner table at Nana & Grandpa's tonight: "This is a great family"

Back from A's first day of preschool this year. Other than throwing a shovelful of sand in another kid's face, it went pretty well...

W woke up growling - A yells "what's going on in my house?!"

When A sneezes on you, she says "I blessed you!"

Poor A was scared of the dark for the first time last night. Screaming "I'm scared!". Says it was her rocking lion "dat scared me".

A got her first bee sting yesterday. :(

W just climbed up a step stool, grabbed a zucchini off of the counter and started munching away...

Opened the door to get A up this morning and was greeted with a loud "MAMA! I LOVE YOU! Best way to wake up ever.

I just told A we were going to Mom n Tots today at church. She got very excited and said "There might be lollypops?!!"

Sigh. Carsick baby. So much for mom n tots today, have to clean out the car instead...

Loved WSFC last night! Great sermon, met new people and the girls both loved being there! A regularly asks "we go to church today?"

A says "I like Uncle S - because he loves me."

I got some toddler Bible studies and decided to begin one today. I asked A if she wanted to do a Bible study. Her little face lit up and she exclaimed "I love Bible study! Jesus loves me!".

W's default mode of locomotion is now walking rather than crawling! About time, kid!

Words cannot express how relieve we are right now! She just up and started walking everywhere today, instead of only rarely while holding someone's hand. I think A may have been working with her, they were both giggling in the kitchen and when I asked A what they were doing she said "walkin'"

W is crying about A closing the drawer she was not supposed to be playing in. A says "It's all right, it's not that tragic"

I was explaining to A that Grandpa J was my daddy. She said "Nana is your mama". "Wow! That's right!", I exclaimed. So I asked "Who is Daddy's mama?" She immediately replied "Dirk." There go our dreams of genius.

A is hiding under a blanket saying "Where's me, Daddy? Where's me?"

Everything is such a tragedy when you are 2. Just a typical day. Grandpa B didn't open the door out to the deck fast enough. Superwhy wasn't on the instant the TV turned on in the morning. She couldn't undo her own bib at lunch. She thought she left her cup in the grocery store even though it was in her car seat with her - and she refused to look for it.

W's favorite game is to hand you various things and say "ThereYouGo"

A deer just ran through our yard. A said "He came to play on our play structure and then went home"

I just asked A what she wants to be when she grows up. "Tall," she answered.

When the doorbell rings, both dogs start barking. So does A - "woof! woof!"

Such a joy to see A raising her hands in praise and singing along to "He Reigns" at church tonight

The pool is so warm it's like a giant bathtub! As A says "I love go Molalla!"

5 hours in the ER with a toddler with a 103 temp. As we're leaving (it's viral), she says "I go to the dockers. It was fun!". I'm glad somebody enjoyed it!

A says "my temperature is broken" - Yay! Down below 100 for the last hour!
