W replied "Actually, I want to be a Grandpa when I grow up!"

At the end of A's WOD today, she had a challenge to do as many burpees as possible in 1 minutes. She got 25, and beat her trainer.

A's comment after music class this morning: "That was a good class. Everyone got to see my great outfit."

Me: W, are you being a little stinker?

W: No!

Me: I'm pretty sure you are.

W: Actually, I'm pretty sure I'm not.

A came in at 6am to tell me "I'm so happy! I love my new pony barn! They are pooping in it!"

W: I'm gonna tell you a story, Mom. Once upon a time, far away land, there was a bear. With a crocodile jumpin' on him.

On the way home tonight, I said "A, you know I'm really blessed to get to be your Mama. You're pretty special."

She replied "Awww, that's so sweet. Do you think I could have a little bit of ice cream when we get home because I'm special?"

We just sat down to eat. When they brought the water, W looked at it and said "is this FRESH water?"

A just ran out of the bathroom to say: "Since W is trying to sleep right next to the bathroom, I will just be in here pooping quietly."

Embarrassing moments as a mother - we're walking out of ballet class behind another mother and daughter when A points and says at the top of her lungs "Look Mama! That girl right there is not very nice!"

A just tapped W on the shoulder and said "W. Listen to me. When all the people in a family...or city...get old, then they all go to heaven to be with Jesus. I'm a big 4 year old girl, so I know these things. I know everything."

A and I were talking about shapes. She drew a diamond so I sang a line of "Diamonds are a girl's best friend". She looked at me like I was crazy and said "That's silly - diamonds are best friends with other shapes!"

Why does a child who pukes at the drop of a hat head straight for the spinning toys without fail?

A must be sicker than I thought - she just fell asleep while watching Cars...

A has some new shoes that light up when she walks.

W said "cool shoes, A!"

A replied "yeah, they light up so everyone will stare at me..."

A is carrying around my light up prop lightsaber singing "this little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine..."
